I thought I entered this once already, if so, please delete this! I am looking for information and purchase of a range finder. I would like it to work to 500 yards. If you have information on them or have one you would like to sell please reply. Thanks, Bill

Cabela's Fall 1990 catalog lists the Ranging Spectrum 500 model
for $99.95. 20 to 500 yard capability. (page 141)
Also listed is the Rangematic 1000, same price, with a range of
50 to 1000 yards. Includes ballistic scale set that allows you
to set up the unit for your particular cartridge/ballistics.
The first one is advertised as useful for the bow-, gun- or two-season
hunter.

Thanks, I'm looking to use it for varmit hunting and have shoots out to
about 600 yds. I have an M8 scope 12X with micrometer adjustment. I have
it zero'd to 400 yards all I need now is a range finder to prove my
numbers.
Thanks,
Bill
