A friend of mine is planning a Whitetail Hunt to S.Texas on the Kennedy Ranch. I would like some information on the Kennedy Ranch. If there are any Texas hunters out there that know about its reputation, average size of deer taken, and the best time of year to take the trip, I'd like to hear from you. Also, is the Kennedy Ranch known for record deer...(BIG RACKS) Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help..

Re: Kennedy Ranch I have a few articles at home on it written up in the Buckmaster Magazine. I'll dig 'em up this weekend and bring 'em to work. Seeing you on ABACUS you must be at MKO1 or MKO2. I work 3rd at MKO1 for NHAS. Send me directions to your office and I'll XEROX and drop off what I have sometime next week. Red | |||||

There was an outfitter listed in in quite a few gun rags called Saritia's (sp) Safari's that was booking trips with them. I called for info and I believe it was $2500-$3000 per person. This was for 4 (?) days of lodging, food, hunting, for 1 Buck and 2 doe. I can't remember what rag had a huge article on the ranch but in the picture there were around 10 real shootable bucks in it. The biggest problem noted in the article was that hunters not use to seeing real good bucks (for eastern states) couldn't keep their fingers off the triggers and end the hunt very early (1st day).
