    Stopped by the Trading Post here in Northboro,Ma today because there
    was a sign on the lawn stating "going out of business sale". When I
    went in and spoke to a sales person he said things were slow, and they
    were trying to drum up a little business. So I guess they weren't
    sincere in their advertising. 
    
    To boot, as I tend to stop in there fairly frequently, it was also
    obvious that no items were priced any lower than usual.
    
    I was on my way out when the "friendly" owner made some stupid comment
    about me looking around for 15 min. and not finding anything to
    purchase. I replied that nothing seemed to be marked down. He then
    became obviously miffed(which I've seen him do quite frequently) and
    asked if I expected him to mark items no cost, or something like 
    that.
    
    Last month they ran a 20-50%off sale, which was also bogus! Depending on
    the item in particular, some items where obviously marked down because
    they had 2 tags showing original price, and the sale price.
    
    But other items showed only one price, clothing in particular which was
    all supposed to be 50%off, yet when I inquired the answer was "no that
    stuff has already been marked down to 50% off".As I said, the same 
    prices were on those items today.
    
    Don't want to beat a dead horse here cause it's been stated in this
    file before that this particular persons "business practices" were
    suspect, do to some questionable practices on consignment items. And
    oh,by the way he was trying to talk some poor slob into selling a
    couple of his guns today on consignment, while I was in the store.
    
    Save yourself the time, if you've seen the sign, or heard through
    another means. There are only the "usual bargains" to be had.

    WHILE THAT IS ONE PLACE I WILL NOT DO ANY BUSINESS IN.
    AND IF YOU KNOW THAT HE ADVERTISES ONE THING LIKE 25%-50% OFF AND
    DOESN'T YOU SHOULD REPORT HIM TO THE BETTER BUSINESS PEOPLE SO
    THAT HE KNOWS THAT'S NOT THE WAY TO GET BUSINESS.

                Being an ex-moderator of this file, I don't think it's
    a good idea mentioning names like this... It's got to doo with
    compant policy. I'd hate to loose the file over something so
    minor. Rick I hope you don't mind me stepping in here? I just did'nt
    want it to get out of hand. That should say company not compant policy.
