THE NIMROD LEAGUE OF HOLDEN
TRAP SHOOTING
For those of you who would still like to do a little trap shooting,
over the winter, we shoot every Thursday night from 7pm to 10pm. The
club is located on coalkiln road in Princeton. It's a low key place
and is an excellent place to start (no pressure).
We usually only shoot during spring summer and fall,but we are trying
to get it going year round. We have shells available and it's $2.25 per
round of trap. So far only a handful of guys (gals welcome) are showing
up, so there is no waiting.
It's a nice club with 492 acres , archery range , rifle/pistol range ,
a two house trap field and club house.(plug plug).
Come on by any Thursday night or send me a mail msg.

| Frank, any skeet ranges there? I might pop over some Thurs. as I live
on 140 in Sterling. Eight point shoots Thurs. nites also. Might get
more shooters on a different nite.

| Barry,
Your right, as a matter of fact I discussed changing the night
with the rest of the trap committee and also some of the eight
point boys. The eight point boys suggested we shoot on tues nights.
However that conflicted with our regular and executive club meetings.
It seemes leominster shoots on wednesdays and fridays are out. I
had a class on mondays and we felt it would be hard to get people
on monday nights. Any way we settled on thursday as we have
traditionally shot on thursdays.
We don't have a skeet range I'm sorry to say. Not now anyway.
That sure is a fun game. The last time I shot skeet it was at
eight point.
