TOO WARM!!!!!!! JUST CAME BACK FROM A WEEK OF HUNTING EAST OF LINCOLN.
RAINY AND WARM EVERY DAY. THE WEATHER SEEMS TO HAVE SLOWED DEER
    MOVEMENT DOWN TO A MINIMUM.
FIVE GUYS ZERO DEER. FIRST TIME HUNTING FOR A SOLID WEEK WITHOUT
    EVEN SIGHTING A FLAG.

IF THIS IS YOUR WEEK COMING I WOULD THINK THAT YOU CHOSE RIGHT.

    GOODLUCK

Just got our first snow - a couple inches of ground cover - this
morning. Supposed to flurry a little more tonight and possibly
tomorrow. Going to be cold on Wednesday (20s), so there maight be some
    snow left for Thanksgiving hunting.

If you're hunting up around Newport, from what I've read in the
papers, it's one of the most populated deer districts in the state
will quite a few people having success this year.

       Good luck.

555.3I wanted tracking snow, but.....BTOVT::MORONGTue Nov 21 1989 09:2310
Snowing real hard this morning in Northern Vermont. Temps in the
20's with real strong winds (20-30mph). Not real nice for hunting.
Most of the schools are closed today. It looks like a real Nor-easter!!
Taking tomorrow off to make it an extra long weekend. Will be in the
woods bright and early tomorrow. Hopefully the winds will let up. When
I left my home (35 miles north of Burlington) we had 4-6 inches on the
ground, and it is still coming down. I'm sure the mountains got quite a
bit. Should be an interesting weekend of hunting.
