I have search all the Turkey notes but have not found any info about central NH (let use Nottingham as a pointer). I have never gone before (turkey hunting that is) but I am intrigued by the challenges that I have read about. If any one know places around that area please share your info. Also, being a first timer i am a little confused. Most of the notes talk about using rifles to hunt turkey. I was planning on using a shotgun and sit in a blind. Do I need to do more research? Tom

>Do I need to do more research ? Yes. Start with your state Fish & Game department. Is the area in question open to turkey hunting ? What types of weapons allowed in your state ? (Some states allow rifles, others specify shotgun only.) Is there a separate season for archers ?

Re. .0 Start with the nice little orange book that the state Fish & Game Dept. puts out. It will tell you where, how, when, and who can hunt turkey or anything else in the state. Another novice who started the "Fox" note.......
