I've been reading and scanning the note for a few months now and haven't seen anything on fox. Has anybody done any fox hunting in the southern and central parts of NH? If so, how sucessful or not were you? I've seen a few here and there, mostly red, while out target shooting in the Londonderry area and was curious is this an indication that they are pretty much plentiful. A novice getting started so any and all replies would be a great help. Thanks, Greg

Those lil' critters are all over the place near Lake Roosevelt (AZ) and out Wickenburg way (again in AZ). We mostly call in greys. You should try to call them in, it's alot of fun and very successful! For info on calling them, read my note in the "coyote" file (112.37). You do the same thing for fox as you do for puppies. Back east you would just use the cotton tail calls. If you ever get out this a way, look me up and I'll take you out for greys. Scott |
