    I have the number at home. I will try and remember to get it for
    you...

    I just got back from the Savanna ( World Shoot ) and while I was there I
    stopped in at the Remington booth. I have a Rmington 3200
    4 barrel set the I left with them because they had to
    take it back to change the top lever.

    At any rate they recomended that I have Gun Craft, Inc in Texas
    do the work since they are much faster. It seems that the factory
    will take all of 6 months to do the work....

    There number is ( 817 ) 282 1464 or 282 6481

    What needs to be repaired and what kind of gun is it?

    At any rate I had taken back to Texas. You see this guy was in the
    booth ( Remington ) and working right along with the remington reps.

252.2I hate when that happens...TSE::LEFEBVREI never met a deer I didn't likeMon Oct 17 1988 12:0513
    I have an 870 Wingmaster. This Saturday, while I was cleaning it
    and fitting a plug for the waterfowl season, the spring popped out
    when I unscrewed the cap the holds the barrel mount to the magazine.

    The little "cup" that fits into the tube where the plug/spring assembly
    gets inserted went flying and I couldn't find it anywhere. I called
    LaRue's and Kittery Trading Post (I live in Portsmouth), and neither
    carries spare caps.

    If anyone has any spare parts, I'd be willing to pay fair market
    price (and throw some venison in as well :^)).

    TRy Bud Barret ( spelling suspect as always )

    He is near Pease airforce base and a compatient gun smith.

    Tell him I sent ya. Bear.

    P.S also Rileys I am almost willing to bet will have it.

    If they don't have it they can order it and you will have it much
    faster than going thru remington.

252.4Happy ending...TSE::LEFEBVREI never met a deer I didn't likeMon Oct 17 1988 15:179
    Thanks, Corky! The number in Ilion, NY for Service and Parts is
    315-895-7493.

    Very helpful woman on the other end. In fact, they are sending
    the part out for free. (Normally 75 cents plus $5 shipping charge).

    A happy camper...
