207.1I like dove hunting!PLATA::BILLINGSLEASwing easy...Tue Sep 06 1988 12:0814
    I got my first taste of dove hunting this last weekend. If you like to
    shoot, dove hunting is for you.

    We went out by Kit Carson, Colorado and had our limit (both days) by
    mid-afternoon. Lots and lots of doves!

    If you ever go, take twice as many shells as you think you'll use. They
    are fast and hard to hit if you're not used to it. It took me about an
    hour of missing, to get a rhythm going, before I could hit anything. I
    used a 12-gauge with improved-cylinder. We would chase them from one
    group of trees to another, and then back to the first trees, then back
    to the other, then back to the first...

    Man it was FUN!!!
207.2reduced duck seasonsCSC32::WATERSThe Agony of DeleteTue Sep 06 1988 14:575
    I see there is no early teal season this year. I wonder what
    changes we are in store for this year. The Duck/Goose season
    are to be posted in mid September.

    Think the whole state will be steel shot this year ?
