192.0. "mgmt zones in mass" by TWOBOS::LAFOSSE () Wed Aug 10 1988 13:49

I will be mailing out my doe permit today and am looking for some
clarification on zones. Could someone tell me which zone Leominster
is in... I'm pretty sure its in zone 9 but just want to be positive
before i mail it in.... I looked at the abstracts of the hunting
laws and there were 2 maps. One one of them it looked like leominster
was in zone 4 and on the other (after reading the boundries) it
    looks like zone 9

    thanks, Fra

Leominster is zone 09. Thanks for putting this in I would have
forgotten to mail in for my permit. Is the cut off date Aug 15
    or Sep. 15 ?

where are we supposed to put the archery stamp, do we affix it to
our licenses... or just carry it with the license. The clerk in
the town hall said to sign the back side of the stamp, but never
    said where to put it.

for the State of Mass., right?

My last understanding was that you are to sign the stamp across
the front and affix it to the back of your license over Cronin's
name. In fact when they first opened High Ridge WMA in East Gardner
to bow hunting, the first weekend archers were told. The second
    weekend they were cited.

I did not look at the abstracts this year, but it never used to
specify (unlike the waterfowl stamps). The wardens said it is specified
in the full description of the archery laws.
