re. .0 Congrats!!! on the Antelope tag!! hope you fill it.
Never shot one of them 264s before. I looked it up in my book
of Balistic tables ans found it to be a pretty good shooter. The
only load I see of interest to me for your type of hunt is using
the Nosler 125gr Spitzer Partitioned bullet. With 60gr of H4831
you will get about 3000fps at the muzzle. The trajectory for that
is as follows:
Drop in inches with gun sighted in at 300 yards:
100 200 300 400 500 Yards
+3.9 +4.7 0.0 -11.2 -30.2 Drop +-
2760 2532 2315 2109 1914 Velocity
21.3 18.0 15.3 12.8 10.6 Energy ft lb per grain
Looks like a good shooter out to 400 yards, good energy all
the way out to 500 yards with 1325 ft lbs, but beyond that
your hold over could be a real guessing game.
Like I said, never shot one of these before so take what I say
as you wish. If you shoot it straight it'll do the job.
Good luck and good shooting.

| Thanks, your tables don't match the tables I have available, but
I don't have the Nosler book. According to my slipstick, it should
do the job nicely. I cranked up some 100 grain loads using 68.0
of H4831 as an arbitrary starting point and then it rained so hard
that the target wouldn't stick to the backing.
So thanks again, I'll crow like a rooster if I get one!
