    Weatherby fans,
    
    What do you load for your .300 Weatherby Mag?
    
    I imagine there are recipes for 110-130 gr. and loads for
    180-220 gr.  Let's hear them.

    Okay, I finally got to test one of these out.  We had a real nice
    day here yesterday, so I sneaked out to the range around 5:00.
    
    I had 5 rounds of .300 WM loaded.
    
    Bullet:     180 Sierra SPBT
    Powder:     80.0 gr. H4831
    
    Comments:   Ouch!!!
    
    Each round was more excruciating than the first.  I am working up
    to somewhere between 81-84 grains of H4831.  The group I got yesterday
    was pretty good.  They were all within a 3" circle and the last
    4 were all over each other. (1 stray out of 5)
    
    I am hoping to get a tight group with the Sierra SPBT and then I
    am going to switch over to Nosler Partitioned 180 grain bullets
    for a hunting load.  I hope I don't have to shoot too many rounds
    to perfect the load.
