I have a question about hunting geese that maybe someone could answer. In Mass and other states, is it legal to hunt geese with a bow ? Particularly on somewhat crowded lakes where a shotgun would definately be out, but would be a safe distance from any occupied dwellings as far as the bow is concerned. This fall, there were up to 300-500 geese on the lake at any one time. The honking woke me up at daybreak more than once. Thanks in advance...Mike

I can't find my copy of waterfowl regualtions, but I think the
Feds prohibit use of a bow for waterfowl. I never could understand
why.
Now, where is that lake??????????????????

I remember reading an article in Bowhunting a few years back on
duck hunting with a bow. No mention of Federal laws made.
