I will explain the shoot a little bit in this reply:
The 25/SLIDE handicap will be as follows:
Shooter starts at the 21 yd line, shoots one shell,
then steps back to the 22 yard line, all the way back to the
25 yd. line, then the shooters advance to the next station, starting
at the 25 yd line, shooting one shell, then moving forward to the
24 yd line,etc. 'til reaching the 21 yd line.
International Skeet
The machines will NOT be "cranked up" to International speeds,
but the shooter will be required to start with the toe of the
stock touching his hip (low gun). There also will NOT be a 1-3 second
delay in the machine.
I'm not sure how the Classes will be determined though, but
as I find out I will forward the info.

PROGRAM: 50 Non-registered Trap Targets shot in the following
Sub-events:
EVENT # 1. ---------- 25 / 16 yd. targets
EVENT # 2. ---------- 25 / Handicap targets
Note: The Handicap will be determined by your score for 16 yds.
No shooter will shoot less than 20 yds. in the handicap
Event. (i.e. score for 16 yds=23, 23 yds for Handicap)
TARGETS ----------------------------------- $15.00/ 11.00 of which
will be returned to the shooters in
the form of CASH prizes.
LEWIS ------------- OPTIONAL --------------- $5.00
BREAKFAST & LUNCH will be available at the Clubhouse from 8:00AM

| The annual Turkey Shoot of the Shirley Rod & Gun Club Inc. will be held
on Sunday, Nov. 24 at the Club grounds! This year we are planning to
have the following events:
Trap
Skeet
.30-06 Rifle
Muzzle-loader
.22 Pistol
Swinging Turkey
.410 Shotgun
3-D Archery
Note that the .30-06 rifle, muzzle-loader, pistol, swinging turkey, .410
shotgun events are fun events. The firearm and ammo is supplied by the
club and everyone uses the club's firearm. They aren't competitive like
the trap, skeet, and 3-D archery events. However, the trap, skeet, and
3-D archery events are run competitively.
As usual, turkey raffles will be held throughout the day in the
clubhouse. This year, 250 birds have been ordered as prizes!
The shooting events start around 10 A.M. and will run until
approximately 3 P.M.. Food and refreshments will be available at the
Club House.
The Shirley Club is on Kittredge Road off of Route 2A in Shirley, Mass..
There is a large wooden sign at the turnoff for Kittredge Road.
Kittredge Road is between the Army Airfield and the Bull Run Restaurant.
