5487.0. "DECwrite/Windows font troubles" by LNZALI::BACHNER (Mouse not found. Click OK to continue) Tue Apr 08 1997 20:08
DECwrite/Windows V3.0/German
WfW 3.11 (though it also runs fine on Windows 95)
On a single page document, I choose a font called "Inglesia Light" (or the like)
for some of the headlines. The font displayed fine in the screen.
After closing the document and reopening it, I got an error that the screen
and/or printer font was not available. The strange thing is that words in some
point sizes are still displayed in this font, while others use some substitution.
However, I can then select the text and change the font back (it is still in the
fontlist !) so it displays fine again.
Also, I can't print this font to a DEClaser 2150; despite I told it in the font
substitution table to print it as graphics, I always get Arial (or a similar
font) printed for these headlines.
Any idea what I've done wrong ?
Thanks for all and any help,
Hans.
