I'd like to run a 1GB batch job (or larger!) on a Turbolaser, an AlphaServer 8400 Model 5/350 with 8GB of physical memory, running Alpha/VMS VERSION V6.2-1H3. However the system manager sets things, I seem to be stuck around 700MB. What parameters do we need to look at? From the peak pagefile size and your pagefile quota, PGFLQUO is probably your limiting factor. Increase it up to VIRTUALPAGECNT and try again but watch the system pagefile utilizations. Jilly | |||||

You can't... You need to increase WSMAX but it's already at the maximum for V6.2. If you upgrade to V7.1, the max has been increased to 524288 pages. d. |
