Made it out Saturday, March 29, 1997 for 1 kneeboard run and 1 slalom run behind a 1997 Ski Nautique which was graciously supplied by the local Correct Craft distributor. Air temp must have been about 50, water temp was 39 here in lovely Massachusetts. Correct Craft has re-worked the Nautique for '97. The hull has what CC calls Total Surface Control (TSC). Just one look at the bottom of these boats and you *KNOW* it's different. On my first slalom start, I could not hang onto the handle of a full power pull from the 310 HP PCM running thru a 1.23-1 tranny and 4 blade 14X16 OJ progressive pitch prop. The slalom wake behind the 1997 is incredible. The kneeboard wake will suffice, but it's pretty SMALL! Any trickers will love the table which is completely free of any turbulence whatsoever. 1267.4 | Not yet. but close! | KWLITY::SUTER | and now for something you'll really like! | Fri Apr 04 1997 11:40 | 6 |
Errrr.... not quite a done deal, but *real* close! There is no boat in my garage right now. The '87 is still being worked on, hopefully done today and the prospective '97 should be going into the mold in Orlando soon.... Rick |
