Anybody have any information, or opinions, good or bad on Tohatsu
outboards. I am buying a new boat, and ordered it with a 90 Merc. The
dealer did not have the Merc in stock, and offered me a 115 Tohatsu
with a 60 day trial period. If I'm not happy with the Tohatsu after
that I can get the Merc put on the boat. He says he has done this a
lot, and only one person has said no to the Tohatsu after the trial
period.

| Not sure about the big ones, but I have a small one on my inflatible
going on it's 4th season.
Very reliable, and simple to work on. I'd recommend them.
