Ah - I saw one of those moored in the Merrimack and thought it
was an odd name for a boat...
Egg Harbor, along with Little Egg Harbor are places on the
    Jersey shore.
Egg Harbor, Pacemaker and similar were extreemly high quality
wooden boat builders up until the seventies. They were fir
planking over oak frames while competitors like Owens were
plywood. Built on the jersey shore.
As they converted to GRP, many of them went in and out of
bankruptcy. They are the predecessor to Jersey and Ocean
    Yachts.
This is just history though, and may have nothing to do with
current production. Sort of like Chris Craft, a great name
for a hundred years until the boats started falling apart
and they disclaimed all liability (with the help of OMC).

| | I have a couple of friends with a 33 Egg Harbor, They love it. It
handles good and run great although there is too much teak to care of
    for me.

| | Thanks for your responses. As it turns out, the owner was asking way
too much for my wallet to handle. I'll just continue searching for
    something else.

| | a couple of years ago I went scuba diving off a 38' egg harbor. it had
a fiberglass hull with a lot of teak decking. it was real nice and
the owner loved it. as previously menitoned they use to be know as
quailty boats, but I have no current feedback
