1201.0. "Water ski clip-art" by TRIGG::VOGEL (Steve Vogel - Workgroup/Messaging Sales Spec) Mon Nov 07 1994 10:32

I am looking for some PC based clip-art showing water skis, ski boards,
knee boards, boats, ropes, etc. I would like to use these in a news
letter and personal communications. Does anyone have any suggestions
on my best source for this kind of stuff? I've seen several news
letters containing this stuff but I don't know if they are doing it the
old fashion way (ie: manual paste-up) or using PC tools.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Coreldraw V4.0 has some, at least 3 of slalom skiers & not too fancy at
that. Unfortunately, from what little I've played with, you have to
reduce the size of the Corel image (sometimes a lot) in order to export
it and have the file size remain small enough for other 'presentation'
type packages to be able to handle the import (Freelance for example).

The other issue is that the clipart is stored on CD with *.cdr file
extensions which will only open with Coreldraw.

If you want to contact me offline (BIRDIE::JGREEN) I'll verify what the
licensing implications are for sharing clipart.

I have access to a PC on the net that is running CorelDraw V4.0 but
because of limited disk, does not have any of the clipart. I was
really looking for some top views of different vendors skis but may
have to settle for some hand drawn/traced versions.
