In a previous note I read a reference to a magazine called Power Boat
Reports. I have not been able to find it. Is it worth while? Is
it in still in publication? If someone is familiar with this magazine
I would appreciate it if you would post an address or other contact
information so I can subscribe. Thanks.

I have been receiving PBR for the past several months. I did a trial
subscription earlier this summer and have still been getting issues.
This is not a glossy publication, usually 6-8 articles and several
regular colunms. No advertising. Usually not more than 20 pages total.
Last issue they did a side-by-side on a new Ranger 25' center consloe
and an established model (Proline I think).
This publication is aimed at the offshore crowd from what I've
seen/read. Good articles on electronics also. I run a 19' I/O on lakes
only and this publication doesn't really apply to my usage.

Unless you are buying things constantly, I don't think it is worth the
subscription cost. ($68.00 per year - 12 issues). I will not be
renewing mine.
