     Sometime in the last two weeks, thieves removed the motor off my
     sailboat that was moored in Newburyport. The motor in question is a;

        Evinrude Yachtwin  9.9 HP  25" sailorized lower unit
        Model # E10SELCC           S/N     R1828133

     The motor had been set up to use remote controls, so it is missing
     the throttle arm. The unit was also electric start but the thieves cut
     away the electric card (along with the throttle cable and gas lines.)

     The motor was bought in 1988, but only used in 1988 and this year (the
     boat spent several years out of water while we had children). 

     If you happen to see it offered for sale, please contact you local
     police department or the Newburyport police.
