Tom,
In Tyngsboro itself is Forrest Marine, albeit rather slim pickins
these days as they are ramping down their marine business.
In North Chelmsford is Middlesex Power and Marine, but check other
notes for caveats.
What, in particular, are you looking for? Service, parts, dock
space?

If you were looking to travel down the Merrimack to the ocean the
closest marina's would be in Haverhill or Groveland due to the dam
in Lawrence.

1075.3 | Rick Wilson/Wilderness Marine in Milford | SALEM::NORCROSS_W | | Wed Jul 14 1993 12:09 | 10 |
| Tom, you work in Merrimack. If you need some work done, call Rick
Wilson over in Milford, NH (673-3840). Rick is an ex-Decie who was the
resident tech expert for outboards (and many other things) in this
notes file until a few weeks ago. He also works part time at
Wilderness Marine which is no more than 10 minutes from MK1 on Route
101A heading towards Milford. (Just before the Shaw's plaza). They
have a small salesroom, parts department and a decent service
department. Rick does work out of his house (and will make house/camp
calls) or could refer you to Wilderness.

There are a number of them from the "Icebreaker" all the way back up to
Haverhill as I mentioned. I'm sure the closer to the "Mouth" of the
river the higher the per foot charge will be. I know that the newest
marina on the Salsbury side of the Rte. 1 bridge is getting $55 per
foot and that may be about the average until you get higher than the
Chain Bridge unless you take a mooring rather than at a dock.

Nashua/Hudson/Tyngsbourough area. Any recommendations or alternative
suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

Steve,
As an alternative you may want to consider renting a slip
in the Methuen area on the Merrimack. This is my second
summer there. I commute from Nashua, it's a 25 minute ride.
The name of the Marina is Merrimack Landing, a slip will
cost you $20/week. Or you can dry-dock for $15/week. The
owner's name is Paul.

1075.11 | Dock Space with access to ocean? | SOLVIT::CASEY | | Thu Jul 15 1993 13:21 | 7 |
| I am also interested in renting dock space but not necessarily on the
Merrimack river. I need something close to the Nashua/Hudson/Tyngsbourough
area but with easy access to the ocean. Any recommendations?
suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
