Does anyone in here have any experience with prop locks?? I looking to get opinions/info for a friend on a prop lock for a 200 HP Mercury. Does anyone know of any particular ones that are good/bad. What materials are best with a stainless steel prop, ie; SS lock, Galvinized, or someother plating? Installation I would imagine to be straight forward? Should not restrict or hamper proper tightning of prop? Any general info is welcomed. Mike

Will you be using the boat in salt water.... at all? Or strictly fresh water. With fresh any material would do. With salt, SS, bronze, or galv. would do. Not brass for underwater salt water use it will dezinctify. Jeff | |||||
