| I don't know about the boat but my friend has been running a 70 HP
Nissan on his 15 foot "fish and ski" Eagle bowrider for three years
now. He never does any maintainance on the motor (he changed the
plugs this winter). The things just runs and runs. Moves out pretty
good, also. I believe that Nissan measures their HP at the prop versus
some others who don't so 70HP may be equal to someone else's 80HP.
I'm no expert on outboards so maybe someone else has an opinion on
Nissan.

| I wonder if Jaybee is NISSAN as well?? This sounded like a good
package, 16 1/2' boat, motor, trailer, skis, kneeboard, tube for $4,800
or B.O... If the motor is as strong as you say then it sounds real
good.
Does anybody know of this JAYBEE boat??

| Looks to me like the package Nissan was advertising in the boating mags
about a year ago. I beleive it sold for 8k. If the boat has a flat bow
and a dark (either dark gray or black) hull its the package they were
offering. Saw a few around but never on the water.

| I owned a Jaybee Bassmaster. I cant recall where its made, Kentucky
I think. It was an 1987 16' which I sold this year to another Decie.
I liked the boat alot. I just wanted to trade 'up' to a 19'. It had
a 70 Johnson.. I dont know where your located, but the dealer I bought
it from was Roussell Marine in DRacut Ma -- which I REALLY liked.
I know they also made the bowrider too. Saw it there in the showroom.

This is a 17ft 1986 bowrider asking price
is $4750 I have not seen the Boat yet I will
problaly offer less if everything looks ok
I would like to test drive it also.
