Most of the boat rags have ads from charities, youth organizations
etc. soliciting donations of boats. Take a look in the classified
ad sections of almost any one of them. If you don't subscribe to
any magazines, let me know and I'll try to find a few names and
addresses for you.

| I'm sure the SEA Scouts would love it! Why don't you call the Boy
Scouts in Porthsmouth or Kittery and "sea" if the want it?
Or you could donate it to me, to be used as my down east undersea
research vessel. To explore new and different scallop & lobster/
fishing area's . Of course I would need a Capt. whom is very familier
with the boat to operate it.( Know what I mean?) I won't tell the wife.

recent changes in the tax code seem to indicate that donating a
financial liability to a charitable organization MIGHT be considered a
gain for tax purposes.
