488.0. "Looking for SLALOM COURSES" by WILKIE::HAMEL () Thu Aug 24 1989 12:30

Hi!

I spend most of my time skiing in Northern Vermont. My
familiarity with lakes in the SNH/NMass area is quite limited.
However, I do spend some weekends at home (Derry) and I'm
looking to do some early morning skiing on a slalom course.

Can anyone tell me where I might find one the is accessible
    to the general public?

        Or, am I dreaming.

        Thanks!

    Hi Dean,
Feel free to use the one at Suncook Lake (Barnstead) there is
public access and parking available at the ramp. There is also
one at Cobbetts Pond in Windham but there is no public access.
You might call Greg Moe at NIO as he lives on the Pond to find
out who owns it and possibly make arrangments to use it.
BTW: I'll be taking out the course at Suncook the last weekend of
september as annual drawdown will begin Oct 1st. Then I'LL be
looking for a place to ski! ;^)
If you want to get together sometime, let me know.

Hey Dean, you should come back to Northern VT. They are on most of
    the lakes up here!
