Has anyone out there heard much about the Concord boats? We are
being given a great deal on a trade in for our Checkmate to get
into a 23' Concord.
While up on Winni this past weekend- we didn't see any. I'm
curious as to why. Are they terribly rated, new, or just not sold
in the boats region?
Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as we are
considering that trade this year (possibly in the next couple weeks).

My inlaws are on lake Winnisquam and a few docks down there was a guy who
had a Concord boat. I talked to him about the boat itself and he loved
it. It was powered by a Johnson 225 and he used it mainly for
barefooting. He said that Concord boats are designed by a previous
checkmate designer. It that is true, I really do not know but the boat
looked like a quality boat. He just traded it in for a Barefoot Nautuic,
Wanted to get serious into barefooting....

Thanks for the advise. My husband does barefooting also. We own
a Checkmate now and really like it. Sounds like it's worth looking
into further.
