This a strange request but it's worth a shot. I'm looking for
a 27-32' Cruiser to live on during the summer months. I'm wondering
if there's anyone out there who knows about a repo type situation
where one can pick up where the previous owner left off or a way
that one could work a deal (anything!!) so as to not have to go into
debt over ones head. Just lookin' for some feedback.

What do you consider cheap??? SOUNDINGS newspaper/magazine has hundreds of boats in that size at prices from $100K+ to around 16K advertised in the back. You also might get leads through the Want Advertiser (commercial classifieds). Good Luck. Al | |||||

Better yet, Why not have someone pay you for living on the ocean.
This could be the chance you have been waiting for. Live in luxurous
accomidations aboard one of the most pestigous yachts in the world
and visit rare and exotic ports, meet new and exciting people.
Just see your local Navel Recuiter.
Seriously- I do know a few people that enjoy living on yachts and
are paid to do so. Your best bet is to put up some ads at marinas
of known affluence and offer your services as a crew member. The
hours may be long and the pay may be low and the work may be dirty.
But you will get the experance of what its like to own your own
boat before you buy.
Another good source to check if your looking to buy a boat is uncle
sams U.S. Custom service, The boat may have a few bullet holes but
what the hey, the prices sure are cheap!
