Wanted: anything you may have for mid-sixties Century Resorter inboard ski boat. I'm specifically looking for a boarding ladder, step pads, "Century" and "Resorter" nameplates for the hull, etc. to finish the restoration of a 1965 fifteen footer. Also complete Century or Chris-Craft ski boats needing work from the mid-sixties. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. Wayne, NUO, 264-1009

Though I don't have any of the hardware you're looking for, I'd suggest contacting Century directly (if you haven't already). I have a '65 Correct Craft Mustang that I've restored and the folks at Correct Craft have bent over backwards to help me find parts. As a matter of fact when I was at the plant in Orlando back in '86 they were about to make a decision as to who would be manufacturing the "old-sytle" white metal name plates since they had received so MANY requests for replacements. Their newsletter, the Correct Craft Tribune, describes an antique boat club that deals with many such issues. If you want I'll dig up the address of the antique club. ...Roger... |
