    Several people recommended a boat surveyor in response to #157.
    I think that that is a good idea, but don't know any.  I'd have
    to pick from the Yellow Pages.
    
    Can we use this note to recommend surveyors?  We should also include
    their location, as I am sure that they'll charge for any time it
    takes to get to the boat in question.

    If you have an insurance company you're presently doing business
    with....
    
    or you have one in mind for a future policy....
    
    Why not let them recommend a surveyor they do business with. This
    could save some $$$ later on if the ins. co. you plan to deal with
    requires a survey for the boat you intend to insure.
