| Update.....
Well, I'm now a "believer/member/patient" at Marino Center. I changed
my primary physician over to the one primary (I think) there, and have
had two acupuncture treatments, with a couple of more to try. They
have been successful in improving my situation immensely.
I like it there; I feel that I'm listened to, and that they will pay
attention to my opinions about my "self". I also like the initial
testing to try to find out where my body is "at". When all results are
back, I have a followup with my doctor to see where we'll go from here.
I've already discovered a possible reason for a moderate weight gain
that I've been having trouble dropping, but was putting all the blame
on the fact that I've not excercised for some time. Blood tests showed
a "sluggish" thyroid.

hope you check the replies. I am ontrested in The Marino Center be-
cause I feel that doctors don't listen to me. Also I have a severe
case as TMD, formerly know as TMJ. I would like to know as much as you
can tell me about it.

Why don't you call me on dtn 257-3804 or 617-388-3804. I see your
notes are entered in the wee hours of the a.m. I usually come in about
5 a.m. If I don't answer the phone, call my beeper; 617-465-0124 and
I'll call you right back.
I started to put a story in here, but then figured I'd rather talk to
you. But, in short, I would say you should have an interest in alterna-
tive health, and to want to take care of yourself. It's a blend of
both traditional and alternative methods. They only have one primary
physician.

Yes, it worked, albeit temporarily. I'm not confident enough in
prescribing dosages, but maybe a treatment plan by an experienced
homeopathic dr. may have helped more. Right now, I'm working on this
with my practitioners at Marino.

THAT HELPS AT ALL. IT JUST SEEMS THAT I HAVE A VERY WEAK IMMUNE SYSTEM.

| Hi....
In note .13 I put my work phone number and said that I come in at 5
a.m......so you won't get me sleeping because I'm here. You could call
me anytime before you leave, just leave voice mail if I don't answer...
but I'll be in the office somewhere.
The center is on 2500 Mass Ave in Cambridge, but up at the area where
Somerville, Medford, Arlington and Cambridge all border each other.
So, it's a bit of a hike from where you'll be, and it would be easier
to plan your route out ahead of time. Of course, if you get on Mass
Ave and just keep going, you'll get there eventually.
Please tell me if you are getting the email I've sent you. Are you
able to at least read mail? I'm not getting anything back telling me
it didn't get there.

| I have to say now that i've visited the Marino Center I have to admit
that I love it there. Except for the fact that my insurance BCBS only
covers 20%. So I had to pay $200.00!

| Glad to hear that you love it, but sorry to hear about the $$$. I'm
fortunate to have Tufts Total Health through a former employer, GE, so
I've been responsible for co-payments only. But, it still gets
expensive. I've come to the conclusion that to get healthy and keep
yourself healthy costs MONEY.
Between shopping at Wild Harvest, and antibiotic free meats, and fish,
etc., yipes.
Did you see Susan Carroll? She told me a young woman came to see her
and gave my name as a reference. Since I could only remember my sister
and sister-in-law as making appointments there, and they are not what I
would call "young" women, I thought it might have been you.
Do you think you'll be able to continue there, or ...... If I wasn't
feeling better than I have in years, I'd have to rethink it, but in all
honesty, Dr. Gordin has pretty much given me back my life in diagnosing
the yeast condition I had.
