| My finance's sister chewed candied ginger during her pregnancy
when she suffered from morning sickness. Seemed to help her!

| Actually morning sickness is a slight sugar deficiency. Chewing on
anything sweet will stop it.
Before some highly indignant woman starts making caustic remarks about
a male giving advice on morning sickness, let me point out that due to
there being no nerve connecting my heart to my brain, the heart does
not slow down at night and as a result I suffer from permanent morning
sickness.

| Jamie,
Maybe you should keep some crackers at your bedside? When they were
treating my dad with Lupron for prostate cancer, he had horrible
"morning" sickness. Fortunately the maternitea that I used through my
pregnancies helped him out as well. He gave a box to his doctor to
share with any othher patients suffering this side effect.

| I keep a tin of sweets (candy) and take one before I get up. This
usually limits the effects.
