| I'm not sure, yet. But, I could ask Joyce Tomao - who seems to be the
"Keeper Of The Guest List". Give me a minute (plus mail time, response
time, read time, write Note time) and I'll see if'n I can find out...

| hehehe...well how diplomatic can I be?
Lets see...all week the weather forecasts had been for rain, but on the
day it turned out lovely and sunny. Part of the household arose at 5am
(!) to prepare for the event. All was calm and organised when the
hairdreser arrived at 8.15...and the florist at 8.30, then I began to
wonder if someone had put the clocks forward..a stream of visitors to
the house arrived between 9am and 9:30 (when we were due to leave) so
getting ready was a bit of a rush.
We arrived at the Registry Office and greeted our guests who has
already arrived. We then discovered they had made a mistake with the
surname (no, I do not want to become Mrs. PlanK - thank you!) which
caused a flurry of excitement with the officials who dashed off to check
the paperwork..fortunately all was correct, just the usher who couldn't
read too well! ;-)
Chris and I were whisked off to a secret room whilst the guests
assembled elsewhere and we then made our 'grand entrance'. As is
usual, we had to make our vows, which was fine until the Registrar
began to say "do you take this woman..." at which someone (who shall
remain nameless) had a flash-back to "Four Weddings and a Funeral" and
started to smile..of course smiles are pretty infectious so this led to
a bit of laughter in the ceremony! :-))
Ceremony over, our guests came back to the house where we had some
drinks and eats, cake cutting etc...which finished around
mid-afternoon. My parents stayed over for the night to look after
Kathryn whilst Chris and I, plus some friends went into London to our
favourite French restaurant and had a lovely meal. Afterwards we went
to the theatre to see Miss Saigon and then got home around 1am on
Sunday. It was a great day!
