| Josh,
The original significance is that many of our conferees are from
various other nations - mostly in Europe. After it hits 5:00pm their
time, the conference tends to deaden to a dull roar. I figured that
those of us left should have a Topic in which we could converse in
freely about whatever we like - within the bounds of the Conference
rules and regulations. Therefore, since the majority of us left are in
North America (with a few in South America, too), and it's "after
hours" for the Europeans, hence "AMERICA AFTER HOURS".

From the East Coast to England there is about an 8hr time
difference (7am on the east coast is 3pm in England). Australia is
about a 12hr time difference.

Actually, I think England is ~5 hours difference from the East Coast.
So you're ~7 hours difference. Just look at the time stamp on a note
that you put in and then check your time. The time stamp on your note
is the time in England.
