Bondi, a burb of Sydney Austrailia. I've always wanted to travel to
Austrailia. I like Kangaroos, although, I hear some Austrailians
consider them a pest.

| To you wonderful folks
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. My, my around we one cozy one out
there? Seems like you guys have been around since Moses.
Thanks for the warning Craig. I've been known to feed animals but not
too much. Don't want them to get as fat as my cat Billi. Krista yes I
do have a cat her full name is Kirribilli and she's a 3 yr old Russian
blue. She's chubby and fun! What about your cat (I take it you have
one?)
Jen, did you like Bondi? Next time you go try the Portugese chicken at
Nando's (to die for ma-jor-ly!) Call me up too, I have a beach parking
permit. My car can handle 10 crates of champagne, 5 beach chair, an
umbrella, a bodyboard, a surfboard on my roof, 20 punnets of
strawberries. All you have to bring is the SPF15+ (I've got zinc).
Henry, its currenty 27 C outside (no cloud at all), Lola, come on down
here and join the picnic in the beach.
Unfortunately there are no kangaroos in Bondi, Marilyn. You find them
either in the countryside or outback. Yes some farmers consider them a
pest. No matter how many jets Qantas buys, it can only take one on its
tail wings. Yes, that includes all the company stationary, baggage
claim tickets (just kidding.....) But normally roos (as they are fondly
called here) are kinda tame and friendly.
Chico, I have heard the name and have looked it up in Phone but
accordingly he left Apr'95 (he could be back as a contractor though,
most are after that infamous retrenchment blitz). De donde eres?
Well guys I hope to hear more from you soon! A warm welcome from
Bondi.
Have a nice day!
Paul
PS I have vague ideas of which part of the globe you are but let me
know anyway again.

To Paul and ::FRIENDS
Welcome to another Filipino ::friend here in the conference.
I've been here for quite sometime now but almost all of the time
READING. I've been very busy and tied up with a SERVER project named
" Limerock " and guess what, we started last October and until now I
still have 2 units to test. Anyway, I keep in touch with our conference
::FRIENDS by reading notes as often as I have some time to rest.
Lots of " talk " here. Topics never run out! That's what
::FRIENDS is.
Ooops, here comes my partner, catch you all later. ( Read you all
later )
Welcome Paul, hello again to the rest of the gang here on
::FRIENDS!

It's a good thing we have email, due to the ~12-hour time difference between

before we all had office terminals and Easynet?

Didn't they put criminals away on Australia in those days ??

378.25 | Oz Yuletide greeting! | SNOFS1::CRUZPAUL | Paul Cruz | Fri Dec 22 1995 03:07 | 37 |
| Hi Ray
Thanks for the greeting. Yes I have heard of the Netherlands. I've
been there too last Aug! Don't ask me if I enjoyed it, I loved it but
... I got mugged in Kloveneisburgvaal for the first time in my life. A
bit traumatic but hey, things like this happen.
Spent a bit of time in the Rijkmuseum and would you believe walked the
entire city of Amsterdam in 6 hours.
I also have a couple of Dutch friends over there so it not such a
foreign city to me after all.
Noli
Hi to you too. Guess what? Right after leaving Amsterdam I was in the
UK (same time). Where is Reading and how far is that from Greater
London? I also administer some international contracts from Australia
to the UK, I might use this opportunity to solicit your help in trying
to get through some folks over there. I'll write to you on a separate
cover.
Yeah I appreciate how far Australia is from the rest of the world. You
guys up there in the Northern Hemisphere jet 6 hours max from one
another (or thereabouts). We have to sit on an airplane for 24 hours
to get to Europe! But then again Australia (or OZ as we fondly call
it) is such a big and nice country that we have many reasons to stay
home.
Well to all you guys out there in the Easy Net. Have a great Christmas
and a Happy New Year. Whatever you do do it safely and moderately!
Cheers
Paul
