| Some of the interest will depend on the facilities. Three are groups of
campers and groups of condo-mates in here and each group will have
different wants and desires. You should look at the ski trip and
foliage trip topics that Holly has organized in the past for ideas. You
should also allow for people to drive up for the day. Personally, I'm
interested but my schedule wouldn't permit an entire weekend.

| My friend said that there were a couple of possibilities. One involved
being "away from it all" for the entire weekend. The other was a
camping spot near restaurants etc.

RE: getting away from it all or near restaraunts
I'd say a near restaraunts trip would be best for most of the folks
in here. Many people don't want to get away from it all (although I'd
much rather hike into the woods with whatever I can carry on my back!).

| Gee.. what a coincidence .. I am planning a "fun" weekend for some time
early June! All friends invited.. It will be in Ashaway, RI. It's a
camp spot that is ~15 minutes from Misquamicutt (sp?) beach. We
supply the cooking/camping supplies.. you need to provide your own
tent, sleeping bag, etc.
But this trip sounds like another fun one. Let us know details. I'd
prefer a camping spot rather than 'get away from everything' spot.

| As some of you know, I will be leaving the system soon. I will still
plan this weekend, because I still want to be a member of FRIENDS.
Chico (SUBPAC::SADIN) has agreed to be the go between for info etc. I
will stay in contact with him, and he will keep everyone posted.
I hope there is still interest in the trip. I am looking forward to
it.
