    Hi,
    
      Its me again...I need some information... I am looking for
    an adventure kind of present for my boyfriend...He wants to
    do one of those... be a Mario Andretti for the day...We know
    of one driving school in CT, but that one costs about $1,000
    which is a tad more than I want to spend on him in one day..
    (without me involved in any way, that is) So does any one
    know of one in the New England Region?  Also, I was looking
    to update my conferences, and I forget how to... how do I
    get a list of the accessible conferences and there homes
    so I can add them to my notes file... I forget, it used
    to be in EASYnet...but it has been soooo long since I have
    taken a look...complete intructions...please...I won't tell
    you how long...  Thanks in advance... I did chk out an old
    conference called ADVENTURE but its in French...literally

	Hi Donna, Well you may add the TURRIS::EASYNET_CONFERENCES conference to your notebook ( notes> add entry TURRIS::EASYNET_CONFERENCES ). This conference will always give you uptodate information on any and every registered conference on the EasyNet. 	Hi Donna, I'm in Central Mass and I don't know of any of the driving courses that are much below $500. Most of the Speedways have courses given. I decided not to suggest renting "Out Run" for the day at the local amusement center... With the type of stuff the driving schools are trying to teach, I'm not sure I'd want a heavily discounted one. Have you checked with Thompson Motor Speedway or Lyme Rock about rentng time on the track for him to go out and drive on the oval? Track time on a setup day might be fun. Jim

	Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, look up the notesfile "carbuffs" and ask your question in there. If anyone would know of a place, they would. You could check with your local police on defensive driving schools as well.

	Digital here pays for all company car drivers to have a 1-day session aimed at defencive driving - aimed at improving alertness. It's a day spent with professional racing drivers at the local motor racing circuit. Funny but we never have absentees on those days!! hehehe! Don *8-)
