  How are the future Quantumites here going to stay in touch with us after 
Oct. 1? I know there has been some discussion about this in other topics, but 
I would like this subject to have its own topic.
  Of course, Digital security rules will prevent Quantumites from reading or
writing to this notesfile. The question is, will Quantum be on the Internet
by then? (If it isn't already. I'm not quite clear on this.) And if not, will
there be any data link at all between the former Digital sites and the "real"
Digital?

	quantum is already on the network. Email will be possible in a short period of time. Digital policies don't allow forwarding notesfile entries without the author's permission but contact points should be able to cut and paste stuff in from the emails and it people are good about posting addresses, a reply to an outside note can easily be mailed by the author doing the reply. My brain hurts through doing that. I already keep in touch with TFSO'd buddies via a mail distribution list and it's pretty easy to set up a passthru mailer if you have a Unix system available (read: you can .forward to a distribution list)

	Yes Quantum is already on the Internet "your name"@QNTM.COM but we individually have not heard about our accounts - when we will get them etc... I will definitly miss all the notes files :^( Jt

	Hi... I don't know much about it technically but I've heard it said that you can start conferences on the INTERNET that don't require DIGITAL access at all. Anybody know about that? /jen

	it is possible Jen. It's also possible to have peeps on the 'net participate in DEC notesfiles. Check with the mods of Bohica for more details...I'm not up on that stuff. chico
