Stav,
That sounds like a list of your favourites. My list is the ones that I
remember most & can relate back to my youth.
Some of them are crap & were so at the time, but when I hear them being
played on the radio now, I can instantly relate to them & can almost
remember exactly what I was doing at the time, where I was, who I was
with etc....

OH CM!!! You just brough back some huge memories!
Color My World....Only this version is by Ray Toronto and John DeFiore.
(My dad and the flute player in his band.) Ray would play it on the
flute, and my dad would sing it to me. It would happen at The Powder
Mill Restaurant in Maynard, where my dad's band played every saturday
night. THey'd get a chair, sit me in the middle of the dance floor,
and play it just for me. It was my very most favorite song in the
whole world! Then Ray would give me his flute, and I'd play the last
part of the song myself! Oh, I miss those days SO SO SO SO much!

| Ahem... I was playing Color My World back then as well... Hmmm... I don't like
how this is shaping up. I used to play the flute solo at the beginning of
Stairway to Heaven because it was before the bass came in.
Another couple of songs that brings back my youth (at least my band days) were
Sympathy for the Devil - Rolling Stones and Doctor My Eyes - Jackson Brown. I
remember a concert on the common in South Hadley where we played and we were
asked to play them 3 times that day.
I never thought it was the OLD part of Dirty Old Man I was being accused of 8^)

| The previous two replies reminded me of another song that definitely
reminds me of my youth. Why? Because my mother used to sing it all
the time.
"What a wonderful World"... Not sure who it's by, but every time I hear
that song, I get all choked up (not because of my mother, but because
it's such a beautiful song).

when i moved to the town that i graduated high school from i remember
dancing around my empty room to "Oh Micky" by Tony Basil...
