    Hello/Farwell to all My ::FRIENDS
    
    Well, I never thought that I would be entering this note pertaining 
    to myself.
    
    As it appears, Monday, August 22 I will officially be notified of being 
    TFSO'd.  I will be on line until August 26.  Then I am closing this 
    chapter in my life and moving on.  This will be one of the hardest 
    things to do.  I have made a lot of GREAT ::friends here in this file
    and throughout my career at Digital.  It's so hard for all of us to live
    each day with the constant worry and the constant change hanging over our
    heads.  It's a sad day for all of us to have to say farwell to any of
    our friends or co-workers.    
    
    I have thoroughly enjoyed the humor and the friendships I have made here 
    in ::friends.  When I'm having a bad day I can always count on >M<,
    Holly, RAVI, Chico, Wen, Terrie, Mack, Chris, Don, DaveZ, NS,  and
    everyone that I may not have mentioned, to put a smile on my face and
    help finish the day a little easier.
    
    I will miss all of you.  >M< keep the MOE-balls coming.  Anyone have
    a tissue!?  This is so hard to say Farwell to all of you.  I've been a
    member for a short time but feel I've known all of you for awhile.
    
    So, as you all proceed in your careers with Digital or take the Quatum
    leap or move on, I wish you all the best of luck and true happiness.  I
    will leave my home number and address with >M< and Holly if any wish to
    continue to write.
    
    I know the days ahead will be filled with sadness and uncertainties but
    always keep your chin up and cherish all your ::friends.  Take Care
    everyone!
    
    I would like for everyone to join me in the corner booth on August 24,
    for a Birthday toast.  I can't think of a better way than to celebrate
    amongst ::friends!!!!!!

	Dee, You will truly be missed here! I hate seeing you go...we've had so much fun together in the nook (heck, you just started waitressing). The PVC pipe was the highlight of my life.... 	It's been so long since I've had a chance to drop in to this conference, that mosts of you probably won't even know me. Also I'm not sure if this note is a response to a specific farewell! If so, please forgive :) I just wanted an opportunity to thank all of those who made a difference to my days, weeks, months and years in DEC. 3.5 yrs to be precise; short in comparison to many. Today is officially my last. I've agreed (crazy huh!) to train my replacement next week, but probably won't have time to write. So, till we meet again, take care, live long and prosper, one and all.
