    On July 10, 1967 a young tech fresh out of school walked to Building 5
    and joined the world of Digital.
    
    This Friday, June 24, 1994 the same person will exit MKO1 for the last
    time.
    
    Badge #3586 is about to be TFSOed.
    
    There is neither the time nor the energy to write a lengthy history
    and likely few would really care to read it. :-)
    
    I have been part of this and it predecessors for many years. I have
    been pretty much read only for most of that time. I feel that I have
    grown to know most of pretty over that time. Many of you have become
    much closer friends in recent weeks.
    
    The trips to Kimballs have been particularly special due to recent
    events.
    
    I thank all of you for your friendship. I will truly miss you all.
    
    I hope to have something here in Merrimack soon. They are on Internet
    so you may not be rid of me yet. 'til we meet again.

	C'ya Pete.... I'm glad that I got to meet you before you left! It's always nice to meet new "::FRIENDS"... hopefully you'll keep in contact in your "afterlife" ;^) I agree with CM... there IS life after DEC... but it being such a BIG part of your life... change is scary.... 	Oh Pete! Not you too! I can't believe it! You finally left LURKing status behind! Serenity wraps her arms around Pete and hugs him forever. I simply change my name every couple of years to keep everyone guessing. ;)

	I have just been informed that my contract expires next Thursday 6/30/94, and it is very unlikely that it will be renewed so it's been nice meeting those of you I have met and nice noting with you. Take Care John PS: Maybe we could go to Kimbals the beginning of the week one last time.
