I want to be the first to thank Holly for organizing this trip
(AGAIN!) And what a GREAT job she did. I had a SUPER time! ;^)
ALL the people who went were a lot of fun and I "DO" hope they all
go on future trips as well. (Except for JEFF....He's too dam*
noisy!!!!) hehehehehehe (smiles honey!)
O, the stories to tell and the tales to spin!!!! Wish everyone else
was in work today.... you all will have to wait until tomorrow for
the lo-down of the weekend because of our holiday!!! HAHAHAHA
sorry!!!!! hehehehee (O, I LOVE doing that!!)

network, but I told him not to worry that noone would say anything
...... that wasn't already said this weekend!!!! hehehehehehehe
I guess I can keep him informed (IF I decide to see him again that
is!!!) hahahahaha

| Let's see, about the weekend ..
It was definitely a blast! Jeff, you were MUCH too noisy (NOT!!).(-:
Started out with Spagetti on Friday night ... and I did NOT allow Bob
to cook the spagetti!! Jenga was the highlight ... lots of fun, and
how many times did you knock it over, >M<??
Saturday was great going to North Conway to go shopping. Too bad that
Bob didn't feel well. We thought about re-naming him "RALPH".. (-:
Lunch was great ... Dianne, how about that cute guy?? (-: And what
about that Boston accent at the next table?!
Dinner ... boy, did we eat! Except of course, >M<. She had chicken,
and ate like one!! But she DID make up for things.. (-: Lots of fun
dancing/singing to Pat Benetar .. Playing rummy-cube (is that the name
of the game???) and playing poker for tootsie-rolls (just HOW did those
tootsie rolls get behind the couch?? (-:
My dear >M<, you MUST learn that a "shot" is not "half a cup"!!
Sheesh!!
And remember, >M<, you didn't "blow it"!! (-:
Sunday was great ... a few people left early, but we still had a great
time ... Played the guys against the women in "Taboo" and we wone!! (of
course!!). Bob never did replace that flower-pot (couldn't find one!!)
All in all it was a GREAT weekend! Bob and I discussed it, and we've
decided to plan two trips this summer. One in mid-june (10th-12th.
Not sure where yet), and one in mid august for the jazz festival in
Newport, RI.
Anyone wanna go camping now??

Holly, John just reminded me....the only reason the "girls" won at
TABOO on Sunday (or whenever it was that we played????) was because
we used the PINK side of the cards....hahahahaha YA RITE!!! WRONG!
We won because we're GOOD!!!! and we play TABOO pretty good too!
hehehehe
He also said that he's going to "educate" me this weekend. Now
what DOES he mean by that???? ;^)
Hey, how many cases did we do THIS weekend? Remember we had 1/2
of the amount of people from February!!! hehehehe

| Yes, we are DEFINITELY camping the weekend of June 10-12. Not sure
where yet. I need suggestions from potential campers.
Where would you like to go? I know of good campgrounds in the
following places (ones that will take groups)...
Ashaway, RI (near the ferry to Block Island)
Cape Cod (lots of nice campgrounds there)
White Mountains (near a river ... very nice)
Not sure, but I think I might be able to find one at Mystic Seaport
too.
Let me know ... I'll have to make plans soon!

| Newport Island is in Rhode Island. Beautiful place to go to. And the
Jazz Festival is wonderful!
You won't need THAT Much time off! Maybe Friday and Monday if you just
want to stay a weekend. Or, maybe stay for a week before or after so
that lots of people can meet the two of you! (-:

festival!! I love Newport! Just do NOT ask me to drive over that

| Ok, re: camping June 10-12 ...
I've found two campgrounds in Connecticut .. here's the run down so far
...
First of all, BOTH places accept groups! That's tough to find lately!
Campground #1 .. $25/night for two people. I need to call tomorrow to
talk to the owner, may possibly be able to get a group rate. Haven't
heard much about this place, but it's only 5-10 minutes from Mystic
Seaport. One person in the RV file said it's "clean".
Campground #2 .. in Oneco, CT. ~30-45 minutes away from Mystic
Seaport. A RAVE review in the RV file. BIG sites. $22/night for two
people. Can possibly get a lower rate if we use less sites (ie,
putting 4 people on a site would only cost $34 for four people).
so, if we go to mystic seaport, do we want to be further away from the
place, and get a campground that we KNOW is nice? Or do we go for the
closer one and take our chances on how nice it is?
Looking for suggestions. I also know of a beautiful campground in
Ashaway, just near the beach, ~20 minutes from the ferry to Block
Island. We could do that too! (can't remember the rates).
