Conference vaxcat::friends

    I have been considering getting a new tatoo, I have see the work of
    this one artist and he is very good ... I was thinking about something
    for around my ankles - any ideas??

    I don't know about your ankles Serenity? Would seem kinda weird if 
    you then put on a nylon! It would kinda spoil it then, wouldn't it?
    people might then look to much down to your feet and bump into
    lampposts!

    Serenity,  my only advice is to put it where you'll always be
    comfortable with... it showing that is.  I might have had mine
    put further down my back rather than dead center because now I
    feel that backless evening gowns are out of the question.  But
    that's just me.
    There's *so* many designs to choose from!!  What are you considering?
    Mine's a dolphin jumping, with a quarter moon behind it.

    I had a large rose tattoo'd on my left bicep with the names of my two
    kids and my wife put in it. Looks ok if I do say so myself....:)
    
    	For an ankle? Hmmmm.....how's about a tattoo'd anklet made off
    roses....I think that'd look excellent....
    	
    	I want to get a dragon on my right arm.....when are we going up to
    get 'em? I got mine at Tattoo America in Nashua. I thought the guy did

    Well, I did get two new ones, m'loves and a third one is in design. I
    used two different artists ... one at Tattoo America (Just like you
    chico!) and the other at the Dark Dragon by an artist named Bill. HE IS
    ABSOLUTELY SUPERB! This is the first time that I barely felt the needle
    gunning away at all ... he has a very tender touch, is an excellent and
    ORIGINAL artist and has won some awards. He's located in Nashua ...
    tell him Serenity sent ya! (grin) (I do not get any kickbacks from
    this, he's just good, that's all)
    
    Hi ya t.! Actually ... I display my tattoos with great pride. (Serenity
    grins naughtily) But then again ... that's part of why I get them.
    These are more prominent than some of my others. (Thank Goddess M-L
    can't zip in and tell you about the others) (grin) I got a wonderful
    monarch butterfly on my back left side and a gorgeous bird of paradise
    on my right upper chest.
    
    I have one more being designed by Bill right now ... it oughta be the
    best one of them all! I am so glad the warmer weather is here again!!!!

    	Serenity, how much does this guy Bill at the Dark Dragon charge? Is
    he expensive? I know my tattoo cost $100 at Tattoo America, and I was a
    bit taken back by the price (the guy did an excellent job tho'). 
    
    	Send me mail on directions to these two places in Nashua! The last
    time I was in Nashua, someone else drove so I don't remember how we got
    there exactly (lot's of back roads etc).

    Serenity, Hi!  Your tatoos sound lovely!  Don't get me wrong I'm not
    ashamed of mine of I wouldn't have gotten it!  I guess I just have this
    mindset over how I should look in certain clothing is all. :v)

    Anyhow, chico, Tattoo America has two shoppes now, one is on Main
    Street, the other is on Canal Street. A hundred dollars for a tattoo is
    about the average I would say for a smallish tattoo. I have a couple of
    circular ones that are a series of different garden flowers connected
    by a vine that ran me about 50.00 a piece. The first one I got of a
    rose and a pentacle was 70.00. The bird of paradise was 80.00 and the
    monarch butterfly was 90.00 ... the butterfly is the most outstanding
    of them all because he made it's feathers look real with the colors he
    blended. The Dark Dragon is right off main street by Library Hill. I
    could show ya if ya wanted.

    i ran into a friend of my husbands last nite and saw his new tattoo,
    it was really neat, it was graffiti (i can't remember what it said)
    about 3 inches high circling his ankle...  there was a half inch
    gap in the back he was getting something else done there...  it was
    very colorfull, and looked just like magic markers it was so bright,
    and there was at least red, purple, blue, green, pink, and then glow
    in the dark orange...
    i'm too "chicken" to get a real tattoo, but 3 years ago i had an 8 inch
    dragon on my right lower leg for much of the summer ;-)  anyone who saw
    it thought it was real!

    Yes I will die like that. At my end of time my wings will still
    be of the same rich purple colour as they are today. It won't matter
    how many time is left, hence time is an artificially createc
    concept and does not effect the poetic souls, nor the people with
    wings and those of being young in heart.
    That day will see me fly for the last time. 
    That day will see me dying, with a smile on my face, because
    I know I had a life full of everything I hoped.
    
    I will die, with purple wings facing upwards and leave this world
    for new adventures in a new emanation.

    Seeing as we're talking about tattoos, I might as well let you all know 
    about my tattoo's
    
    
    I got the head of a chinese devil tattooed on my upper right arm when I 
    just turned 16, it's red, yellow, black and a bit of purple, I also have
    chinese writing tattooed on my left pec, I got that done just to kinda
    balance it up. That one is jet black.
    
    
    I don't want any more, I think too many is not good. Although one of my
    friend's is covered from his waist upwards, he has no bare skin on his
    arms and shoulders.
    
    
    The guy who done the chinese writing for me is in the Guiness book of
    records, for doing the biggest tattoo ever on this guys back. 60 hours 
    it took !!!  It was a picture of Tree-beard from Lord of The Rings.
    
    I see a lot of celtic knots and armbands over here, they're very
    popular.
    
    
    
    I also went out with girl whose uncle had two golden bells tattooed on
    his scrotum !!
