And here it is: Mr. Data's vacation report. ;)
Yesterday on Thursday I took a day off to go to the beach. My manager
said "Go for it" and so I went. ;)
My girlfriend Julie had her girlfriend from Alaska over and they were
visiting friends of ours in Ipswitch, who live close to the beach.
So I joined the fun. ;))))
We went up to Ipswitch in the morning at 10am and spent a gorgeous day
at the beach. We lied in the sun, we played tag with the kids, we built
sand castles and dug wholes for the little ones to play in. I ran
in the shallow water up the beach, just me and the sun and the
turquoise sea, the seagulls, the boats and the people. ;)
I did not swim, way too much water in the ocean.... ;) but we had fun
fun fun. On the way back we stopped at a Dairy Queen and I tried a
"blizzard": yumyumyum! ;)))
In the evening I went to Aerobics at the Health Club and did some weights,
too. It was a well rounded day of fun.
;)

| We went to Crane beach in Ipswitch. The water just looked like on a
postcard: turquoise, with small waves busily rushing towards the
shore, white sails on the horizon, stretching to infinity, far far
away, inspiring your dreams, softly arising a fine yearning for
Sundays with boating parties, undiscovered treasure island and more
of this stuff. ;)

| Martina, you should be a novelist!! Your descriptions are always
so romantic and beautiful. I've heard of Crane's beach, Steve and I
will have to make a point of visiting there! Did you have some
wonderful Ipswich clams?

We went to the beach with 1 cooler and 2 bags full of goodies.

Yes, Steve and you certainly have to go see the Ipswich sea.
The beach stretches itself from the end of Plum Island to somewhere
in the South. You can walk walk walk and always have the fine
pearling sand underneath your feet and the water coming and going
with the tides. At some points you can see the sunlight reflected
in the sand... glimmer particles! You don't have to be afraid
of the water, it is very shallow and inviting. Only people like
me refuse to go in. But on the weekends with nice weather the
beach will be crowded my friends told me.
