    would have it this morning, my car heater failed, had to drive to work
    with the window open to keep it clear.  Car goes in on Monday.

    perfectly Friday evening, so I never did take it to the shop.  More

Hi Marilyn,

I had a heater fail like that once. It was ice in the line that kept the hot
water from getting into the heater core. Sitting in the lot after it had been
driven made it thaw out. The thing is, if your antifreeze is weak enough to
let this happen, you need to get it looked at/changed so you don't freeze it
worse and do some real damage next time.

    	real cold to me is from the low single digits on down. Anything
    above that I can weather nicely....anything below that I don't have the
    clothing for. I once sided a garage when the temp was -10�F and there
    was a 35mph wind. I frost bit two of my fingers so badly that the
    docter told me he was going to have to amputate them. I soaked my
    fingers in warm water for 3 weeks before any color returned (they
    didn't have to amputate). That was about the time that I decided
    carpentry wasn't my chosen profession...:*)

    you get to work.  OH, I hate cold cars - I just plain hate the cold. 
    Gotta put my ski suit on, warm booties and mitties to stand it.
    
    I always look forward to spring, walking out of the office with nothin
    but the clothes on my back and a smile on my face.  None of this get
    your boots, coat etcetera etcetera

I like it warm. just like this snarfy hot tub!

    Cold on the outside of the house - where it belongs.  Came home a couple
    years ago last winter to discover heat was off in the house.  Luckily,
    the franklin stove heated things up enough to prevent a complete
    freeze.  I think if it was a few more hours and the house would have
    been in the deep freeze.  Then your into mega bucks with spliting
    pipes.  From then on, I always had a neighbour check on the house.

    My best friend keeps her house cold to save money on heating.  When I
    go to visit, I have to dress for it - tights under the jeans, cozy
    sweaters.  She and her family have becme climatized to it.  I don't
    think I could ever become that accustomed to the cold.  I like warmth,
    hot tubs, balmy summer weather.  My mom is the exact opposite, she's
    always warm.  It's always interesting when the two of us are in the
    same house.  Thermostat up...thermostat down...

    their best plant to SCI. Now Digital is about to do the same thing with

    I read ya problem, and I sometimes have similar ones in my group, I am
    the Resource Controller for my specialists and I get to hear all about
    their little nigglies...
    
    At the end of the day, it took a manager to sit the person down and
    explain to them that they should try and interelate with the group more
    and actively make themself a team-member, instead of a one-man band....
    
    Im quite lucky now, cos most of my guys relate to each other quite
    well, we've had some re-shuffling, which has helped, 
    
    
    But, if he gets ya mad, jsut think of Deb being cheeky, Im sure that'll
    bring a smile to ya face!

    Got layed (TFSO) off in October of 1994 while working at CXO3. 
    Unemployed for about 6 months, then worked for a company in Seattle,
    Washington for 6 months, and unemployed for about 5 months.  Son
    number one died in Mid November, so I was home then.  I would really 
    rather be unemployed than lose a child.  It gets better, and working
    helps.
