    This is the first I'd heard about Carla... I'll miss her poetry.  I
    had the privledge of meeting her at a HUMAN_RELATIONS/FRIENDS party
    in Colorado once.  Didn't get to talk to her very long or much, but 
    she was definatly one of a kind (something I've always admired in 
    people is their ability to be uniq and for Carla it would be best to 
    call it UNIQ).
    
    I'm sorry to hear she's leaving.  
    
    well here's my glass... filled with champagne, and tears.....
    
    Here's to the old days and the long ago FRIENDS.  May they find as 
    much happiness in their future as they left with their FRIENDS in the 
    past.

    Each of the ::FRIENDS that now begins a different journey on this path
    takes a piece of those of us who remain (for now) with them, and leaves
    a piece of themselves with us; hence, we will always be bound together.
    I just want to say how blessed and thankful I am to have shared the
    joy and humor (LOTS of humor), sadness and pain, good times and not so
    good times, with every absent ::FRIEND, and for being able to share
    the same.  It has most definitely been a pleasure.

Here I burn an incense stick for my absent friends.  I hope the aroma reaches
them whereever they are and make them feel that they are missed here.

    Sometimes I just don't know how to express myself.....
    
    I want to drink a toast to all my friends.....the ones who 
    have left or are leaving us; my Big Brother Chuck, Matt, Stilly,
    Kristy, Seth, Tracie.....
    
    The ones that are still here, (you know who you all are!) :^)
    
    The ones that are far, far, away but still close in my heart....
    
    And my new, and dear friends....
    
    
    To love, kindness, peace and tranquility, to happiness and contentment

    The one thing I'm really sorry about is that I didn't make an effort to
    get together with ::FRIENDS when I was in Boston 6 months ago.  I
    figured I'd do it next time.  But expense cutting has curtailed
    out-of-town meetings and so many people I wanted to meet have left the
    company; more will probably be gone before I get up that way again (or
    I may be gone).  What's that quote about regrets...

    It's such a shame to see all these friends go, I only knew them for a
    short time but talking with them and those that are left it makes you
    feel like part of a big family.
    
    And to those of us that have departed they know that they will always
    be part of that family. A toast to them and may they move on to bigger
    and better things.....

    I miss him too Joyce.....I wonder if Annie (his girlfriend) decided
    to go with him when she got TFSO two months ago. Orginally she decided 
    to stay and he chose to move out west but that was before she found
    out that she was getting layed off....

	Speaking of absent friends, does anyone know if Scott Marshall is
still with Digital?  I looked him up in elf, and tried sending a message
to the node listed, but it didn't go.  I knew I should have mailed him a
Xmas card.  Siggghhhh...

Yup, I tried IOSG, wouldn't go.  I don't have an all-in-one acct. anymore.
I did get a card from him Lori, he didn't mention anything about work.  I
knew I should have sent it through U.S. mail...
