| During the night time flip-flopped. As many of us do, I woke in the
middle of the night to take care of bathroom business. When I looked at
the clock, next to my bed, it read 3:21. I flopped back in bed and fell
asleep immediately. What seemed like many hours later I again woke for
the same reason. As this is most unusual for me, I looked at the clock
to see how long I had been sleeping since the last time. The clock read
1:16
I went right back to sleep then woke to my alarm at 5:15.
I am still feeling a little strange about what happened.

| Steve and I have recently had some peculiar night clock readouts also.
One night I kept waking up and the first time the clock read 1:11. The next
time I woke up it was 2:22, then 3:33. It was kinda spooky.
Steve had this happen last week, the first time he woke up it was 1:10, then
something like 2:11 and 3:12, one hour and one minute between each interval.
Maybe the aliens are playing tricks on us.

| I must be getting old. I remember, as a teenager, when I could sleep 12
hours without getting up one time. Now if I only wake up once in a six
hour period it is a great accomplishment. I wonder, do people in their
60's and beyond sleep only 30 minutes between middle of the night
pitstops?

Hey Tom !!
Mebbe the LED on yer clock is misbehaving... It can't show a
'0'...many led's have been known to do so... I think the first time you
woke up it was 0:31.... *8))))

| In highschool I had a time when I was woken up at 12 minutes past the hour
regularly. It turned out that the flip numbers on my radio made a noise at that
point and if I was sleeping lightly, I'd hear it and wake up. Turned out to be a
burr on one of the gears that caused a squeak.
In cases where it's a regular interval, it's probably some periodic function of
the house like the fridge cycling off and rattling something on top. the loss of
cool in a fridge overnight without being opened is pretty constant/regular. I
know mine rattles slightly when the compressor turns off and then it's EXTRA
quiet in the house. We have a dog and cats so I've stopped listening to house
noises. As the joke goes, if someone comes to the door, the doorbell will bark

The funniest thing happened to me today as well. I set my alarm for
five.....which is weird in itself, as there were only two of us.
I got up & stroked the pussy (She's a tabby with ginger stripes named
Jilly) and then went into the toilet (head first straight into it, as
I tripped over my willie (That's my dog, a 4 year old Cairn Terrier).
I then went downstairs & answered the door (Well, it asked me a sports
question). I opened the door & a young lady asked me for diredtions. I
immediately ran back upstairs & put mu underpants on. When I came back
down she had gone. She had left a note which said, "For God
sake....don't go into the FRIENDS conference today. You see, they think
you were serious with your LFT last week & now they've gone all humpity
with you".
I said, "I don't care....I'm BACK !!"
