| Once upon a time, in a land far, far away there was a young man named
Seth Howes. He was very proficient in delegating unwanted tasks on
other people. What he didn't realise is that the people he delegated
the tasks to were equally as good at delegating those very tasks to
other people... unsuspecting, innocent creatures who took the tasks
and wove wondrous tales of humour, mischief, romance, adventure,
mystery, and the all-time favourite, good vs. evil.
The most prolific of story-tellers was a young lady named Dawnne.
But she called in sick on the day that the tasks were to be hers, so
another underling had to do them for her. Her name was Kristy. And
this is her story.
Kristy sifted through the seemingly unending pile of papers in Jen
O'Rourke's office... the first of several such stacks of paper.
Kristy muttered, "I'm sure glad this place has recycle bins...
although by the look of things, I'm going to need a few garbage
trucks to carry away all this stuff... And I thought *I* was a
packrat. Sheesh!"
All of a sudden, a shriek sounded from a nearby cubicle. Kristy just
about knocked over the pile of paper she was sorting through. A
snail inched its way by the opening in the cube walls that served as
the entrance to Jen's cubicle. Lori Barr, pale and trembling, walked
cautiously behind the snail with a large VMS Documentation Set volume
held partially over her head, ready to smash the snail to bits and
make it a part of the already drearily coloured carpet.
A few moments passed quietly, anticipation and dread mirrored in
Kristy's eyes as Lori held a battle with her conscience to try and
decide whether to obliterate the dingy little snail or to let it
live. The decision was made for her as seemingly out of nowhere,
Sush Kumar and Manny Melendez came around the corner. In an attempt
to avoid stomping on the snail as it made its miniscule way along the
carpet, they both toppled against Lori and the three of them tumbled
to the floor in a heap. Lori dumped the VMS manual and wrapped one
arm around each of the young men and held them close. The snail
turned and looked at the spectacle of tangled bodies on the floor,
twitched its cute little antennae, then stuck out its tongue and
said, "Ppfpfpfpfpfpfpfpft!!!"
"Well I never!" exclaimed Lori.
"Oh, you must have," replied Manny and Sush in unison. All three
looked at each other, then burst out laughing and began having a
three-way tickle fight.
Kristy shook her head and returned to the interior of Jen's
paper-filled office and restarted her task. Meanwhile, the snail
made its weary way into Jen's office as well and managed its way up
onto the desk, then the keyboard. It began to type out a mail
message, occasionally stopping to study the screen to make sure the
message was free of typos. Kristy glanced at the screen and noticed
that the message was addressed to Seth and Liz Jeffries. She noticed
it contained some rather risqu sentences in it. She raised a
questioning eyebrow at the snail. It just grinned its devious little
grin.
Jen's phone began ringing. Kristy had to move several stacks of
paper to find the phone, every now and again tugging on the phone
wire that led to it to see which stack she had to move next. She
finally found the phone and picked it up. "Hello, Jen O'Rourke's
office," Kristy said hesitantly.
It was none other than Rachel Weldrick, calling to say hello from the
wonderful land of Oz. "Hi Kristy!" Rachel said in a sultry
Australian accent. "I have Ben Baca on the phone with me and we're
looking for Jen so we can have a conference call. Is she about?"
"No, I'm afraid Jen is listed as missing. It's quite possible she's
buried somewhere in here, and I just may not have found her yet. If
you want to talk amongst yourselves for a bit, I'll see if I can dig
her up," answered Kristy.
Kristy placed the receiver down on top of a nearby stack of paper and
started opening file cabinet drawers in search of long, lost Jen.
Lori, Manny, and Sush were still out in the corridor tickling each
other and laughing hysterically, their voices filling the air with a
sense of happiness.
In a matter of moments, the laughter was drowned out by a roaring...
rather distant at first, then growing louder. Kristy peeked over the
wall of the cubicle and saw none other than Gina Franceschi, Paul
McGrail, and Joyce Tomao burning up the linoleum on their
motorcycles! "How odd," thought Kristy, then she shrugged, and said
aloud, "It is Saturday, though, so I guess anything can happen."
Paul, Gina and Joyce were whooping it up out in the corridor as they
rode up and down its length, scaring the living daylights out of any
other employees stupid enough to venture out into the hallway.
Beyond the careening motorcyclists, Kristy could see Seth in the
computer room across the hall, a very nasty expression on his usually
very calm and happy face. He stalked toward the door that led into
the hallway and just as he flung open the door, he stopped dead in
his tracks. Standing before him was Melissa Gallagher and Tracie
Baker, dressed in slinky black wisps of garments, covering only what
was necessary, then again, perhaps not...

| Seth's jaw dropped open a bit in surprise as he took in the very
beautiful appearance of Tracie and Melissa. They smiled dazzling and
each linked an arm with Seth's. He did his best to hide his surprise
and curved his lips into a gentle smile. It had the desired effect
on the two young ladies. They giggled and smiled back, then led Seth
from the noise and confusion of the computer room. They made a dash
to the far side of the corridor, as Gina, Joyce, and Paul were still
motoring up and down the length of it, decorating the plain white
walls with rainbowed streaks of spray paint.
In Jen's office, Kristy continued her search for Jen, and the snail
snickered mischievously as it heard Seth's footsteps on the linoleum
floor near the cubicle. Rachel and Ben continued chatting away on
the phone between themselves, exclamations piercing the air
occasionally as Ben made suggestive comments which surprised Rachel
or vice versa.
Outside the cubicle, Lori, Manny and Sush managed to pull their
tickle fighting under control and got up from the floor. They
straightened out their clothes, as well as each other's. The three
of them wandered a bit closer to the uncarpeted corridor to watch the
motorcycle antics and the new colour patterns forming on the walls.
Gina skidded her cycle to a halt right in front of Seth, Melissa, and
Tracie, a *huge* grin on her face, her eyes sparkling with
devilishness. "Hi!" shouted Gina, and the others tried to make their
hellos heard over the din of the motorcycle engines. Melissa coughed
delicately as the fumes from Gina's motorcycle were forming a wispy
black cloud in the area. Tracie rubbed her nose as the fumes were
getting to her as well. Both ladies swooned a bit and leaned against
Seth. Being the gentleman he is, he offered them support by sliding
an arm around each of their waists. Gina grinned impishly and gunned
the engine of her motorcycle, then roared off down the hallway after
Paul and Joyce, leaving a thick black line of treadmarks in her wake.
Both Tracie and Melissa sighed in relief and waved their hands in
front of their faces in an attempt to clear the air.
Lori, Manny, and Sush joined Seth, Tracie, and Melissa and they
started chatting and exchanging jokes and stories about travels and
lunches and the like. The itty-bitty snail slinked its way up to the
top of the cubicle wall and peered out at the gathering. It squeaked
softly and the in the effort to make that sound, it pushed itself to
the very edge of the cubicle wall and started slipping down the side
in a patch of self-induced slime.
<tap> <tap> <tap> came a noise from the public address system of the
building. A masculine voice stated: "This is Hill. It has been
reported that Jen O'Rourke is missing. A search party is required to
inspect the entire building and surrounding grounds to find her.
Special investigators Liz Jeffries and Mary-Lynn Belforti are waiting
in the main lobby for the rest of the posse to show up. Join the
search... together, we'll find that lost soul." The P.A. system
made a <zzzzzaaaaaaapppp> sound then Hill cursed softly before the
microphone clicked off.
The group of ::FRIENDS were still looking up at the ceiling, where
the speaker for the P.A. system was, all murmuring their concerns
for Hill and saying a quiet prayer that he hadn't been electrocuted.
"OH MY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" came an exclamation from the interior of
Jen's cubicle. The crew hurried to the entrance of the cube to see
what was happening. Kristy had the bottom drawers of two 4-drawer
filing cabinets open. In one, Mark James was slowly sitting up,
blinking his eyes in a sheeplike manner. In the other, Matt Bagdy
was snoring (rather loudly), Jen's teddy bear clutched tightly in his
arms.
Rachel and Ben had heard the exclamation through the phone and were
valiantly trying to get someone's attention so they could find out
what was happening. Somewhat tinny shouts of "Hey!!! You guys!!
Will someone *PLEASE* pick up this doggone phone and tell us what's
going on!?!?!?!?!" echoed in the stillness of Jen's office. The roar
of the motorcycles had faded as the three Hell's Angels' wannabes
rode out to the lobby to meet the investigation team and help out, so
all was quiet once again in the office area.
Mark stretched out his cramped, tired limbs and climbed out of the
file cabinet drawer, then grinned sheepishly. "I guess I overslept a
bit," he explained. "The shipping guys were supposed to tell me when
I'd arrived."
Seth, attempting to take all this in, raised an eyebrow and smirked.
Melissa, happy to see Mark, shoved her way through the crowd of
people and flung herself at Mark and greeted him with a big
*SMOOOOOOCH* as is her trademark. The spectators were treated to the
revealing of even a little *more* leg than was already visible when
Melissa had to stand on her tiptoes to wrap her arms around Mark's
neck. Tracie balked at the little scene, then said, "Markie, did you
bring my concert tickets?!?!?"
At that moment, Dawnne Santos, who had earlier called in sick, peered
over the cubicle wall of the next office over. All heads turned
toward Dawnne and she had the good grace to blush. "I felt guilty,"
she said, her face a bright pink from all the stares everyone else
bestowed on her.
<tap> <tap> <tap> came the noise of the P.A. system again. "This is
Special Investigator Liz Jeffries speaking. Where are the rest of
you clowns!? Get your bodies to the main lobby *RIGHT* *NOW*.
Mary-Lynn will inform you of the areas you are to search for Jen when
you arrive. I'm hitting the parking lot with the motorcycling trio."
A frazzled <zzzzzaaaaaaaappppppp> sounded from the P.A. just before
it clicked off again.

Dawnne's eyes widened suddenly, then made a slight squeak as the chair
she was standing on decided to start rolling away from the side of the
cubicle wall. A rather loud, but slightly muffled (due to the carpet)
crash was heard from the next cubicle over. Kermit snorted and
grumbled as the noise of Dawnne's fall caused his brow to furrow. He
squirmed around trying to get comfortable again, then abruptly sat up
and looked around, hands at the ready to do highly-skilled karate
damage to anyone or anything nearby.
Sush, Manny, and Mark all rushed out of Jen's cubicle and around to the
other side of the cluster of cubes to make sure that Dawnne hadn't hurt
herself badly. Dawnne was vigorously rubbing her left shin, a pained
expression on her lovely face. She looked up as she saw three pairs of
feet and legs standing in the doorway to the cubicle and smiled
guiltily. "I banged my shin on the filing cabinet. Typical of me,
huh?"
Meanwhile, Kermit relaxed a bit, after realising he had no need to be
in a defensive stance/sit, and climbed out of the filing cabinet.
Then as he went to run his fingers through his hair, he realised that
he was still clutching Jen's teddy bear. He grinned and looked
around at Kristy, Seth, Tracie, Melissa, and Lori. Everyone smiled at
Kermit, and waited to see what he would do next. He handed the teddy
bear to Seth and said, "Just hold Pooky and tell him everything will be
all-right."
Tracie and Melissa sidled closer to Seth and were cooing and giggling
over how cute and ruffled Pooky was. Kristy snickered and muttered,
"Pooky isn't anywhere near as cute as Sethypooh." Seth's eyes met
Kristy's and he glared at her.
"I am *NOT* 'cute'. You're lying!" Seth exclaimed.
Melissa and Tracie turned their attention to Pooky's keeper. They
smiled broadly, and each hugged Seth tightly. Melissa said, "Seth....
Kristy is right. You're a good-looking guy! If you weren't, do you
think Tracie and I would've worn the clothes we're wearing so we could
impress you???"
Tracie piped up, "Don't answer that!"
Kermit was quietly listening to the conversation, but looked somewhat
frustrated. Finally he sighed deeply, and shook his head. "Hey,
dude, chill out. You're a stud and all the ladies know it. I know
it's tough to handle, but try to live with it, OK?" Then he turned to
Kristy and asked, "Have you seen Jen? Why is there a party going on
in her office?"
Kristy looked at Kermit kind of blankly, then stated, "Well, we're all
trying to find her. Rachel and Ben are waiting on the phone to talk to
her and no one seems to have a clue as to where she is. I suppose it's
possible she got lost on the way into work or something..."
The distant rumble of motorcycle engines grew louder, then faded as
Gina, Liz, Paul and Joyce bombed by in their search of the facility
grounds. Chunks of dirt, grass, and rocks pelted the glass of the
nearby windows, kicked up by the rampaging cyclists.
<tap> <tap> <tap> sounded the P.A. system once more. "All-right,
you twits! Where the hell are you!?!?!?!? This is Special
Investigator Mary-Lynn Belforti. Get your lazy butts down to the
lobby *NOW* or else you're all history!!!!! Hill, here, needs
medical attention.... or mouth-to-mouth resuscitation at the very
least!" A crackling <zzzzzzaaaaaaappppppp> sounded from the P.A.
speaker as the mic was shut off.
Seth chuckled softly and muttered, "We're all pretty much toast anyway,
so why should we bother helping to find Jen. That's a job for the
grunts. Not the likes of me." He gave Tracie and Melissa each a gentle
squeeze, then said quietly, "I have other things to attend to," and
smiled enigmatically at them. They smiled back, obviously thoroughly
caught up in the sincerity and enchantment of his smile.
Lori heard the hushed voices of Manny, Sush, Mark, and Dawnne and
made her way through the stacks of paper in Jen's office out to the
corridor in search of them. The snail had managed to make its way up
to the top of the cubicle wall once again, and sat there, snickering
quietly. As Lori rounded the corner of the cubicle, she came
face-to-face, and body-to-body with Sush, who was walking in front of
Manny, Dawnne, and Mark. The five of them teetered, grabbing at each
other to regain their balance, only to cause more imbalance, then they
all crumpled to the floor in a heap. Lori took advantage of the
situation and started a tickle fight. The others were already laughing
because of the mishap and quickly joined in. Dawnne's earlier injury
was completely forgotten in the mayhem that ensued during the tickle
fights, screeches and giggles of delight filling the air and driving
everyone else around them totally bonkers! :)

Meanwhile out in the facility grounds Liz Jeffries was briefing Gina,
Paul and Joyce on Jen's whereabouts. Liz explained to the three amigo's,
that rumors were Jen may have gone home sick, "I know Jen wouldn't go home
sick, she's too dedicated to her job......she has Ken Olsen's picture
all over her office...she's begged to work two jobs within DEC....her best
friend was a VAXmate....she had the Digital logo tatoo'd on her arms...
she...." abruptly Joyce covers Liz's mouth and with a strong italian
accent replied "We get the picture, me and the gang here will go and check
out her house"
"Can I come with you guys" replied Liz "I'm a rebel, ready to ride!" Paul's
eyes widen, perverted thoughts started going thru his mind when suddenly
Joyce smacks the back of his head bringing him back to reality. Gina
frowning on the idea tells Liz "Only experience riders can come" ....
casually Gina walks to her bike....it was a strange walk....a walk that
a cowboy would do after a long day at the saddle...in fact all three had
that same walk as they approach thier motorcycles. While revving the
engines on thier bikes, you could see the excitment building in thier faces.
With a blink of an eye they were gone, only leaving a trail of dust behind.
As Liz turned, she felt someone grabbing her arm........
Back inside the building, Kermit took it upon himself to round up the
troops and head to the main lobby. It was a task in itself to breakup
the tickle fight that Lori, Mark, Dawnne, Manny and Sush were having.
Kermit knew that once he got in the tickle fight, there was no way of
getting out. He then got an idea once he glance over towards Melissa and
Tracie, he would try and steer the attention away from the tickle fight
and have it on Melissa and Tracie who were dressed in a seductive mannar.
But what about the woman? Melissa and Tracie would not have any effect
on Dawnne or Lori...Kermit knew what he had to do....he was reluctant
at first to do it ...last time a woman saw him in his bikini briefs
she attacked them, screaming frantically "I want you!!".....but he knew
what he had to do it....he could only pray that the situation would not
get out of control.....
At Jen's office, Kristy quickly realized that Ben and Rachel was still
on the phone. As she was ready to speak, she overheard all the suggestive
comments that were going back and forth. Kristy never knew that such
comments would of aroused her interest, her mind started to wandered off.
Visions of romance and cozy encounters filled her mind ...but yet she
could not make out the facial image of this man that she was with...
In her vision, she drew closer to this man in order to get a better
look at his face. As she approach him she realized who he was......
At the lobby, Mary-Lynn knew that she had to get help quick for Hill.
He was still knocked out from the electric shock that he took from
the microphone. M-L quickly called the nurses station asking for help,
the woman on the other line said she would come down as soon as possible.
Mary-Lynn.....with her hair all frizzled up, her face all black due to
the electrical shock that she recieve from the microphone......look
at her nails and screamed "Damn, I broke a finger nail"
"Hi...you called for a nurse" said a voice behind the counter, M-L
turned towards the voice only to find that it was no other than Linda
Lobov! "What are you doing here" replied M-L, Linda smiled and said
"The nurse called in sick so they called the Temp office and they sent
me down"....M-L, still upset over her fingernails ask Linda " Do you
have any medical experience???"......"No" replied Linda " But I like
working with people" "Where can I put my medical bag at?" Linda asked.
"You can put it next to that microphone over there" replied M-L "But
don't touch the....." <zzzzzzzzzzaaaaaaaappppppppp>

Liz, not knowing who was grabbing her arm, instinctively flip the person
over. "Giri!" shouted Liz as she noticed that it was none other than
Girish Naik. "Are you okay??" asked Liz, Girish replied "I was until
you flip me!" "Well you shouldn't sneakup on people like that" exclaimed
Liz "What are you doing here???" "Well I was waiting for Joe Mcgee to show
up so we can go to the local Indian reservation and chase all the Indian
girls around just like the old days" replied Girish with a devilish smile
As the three amigos were heading to Jen's house on thier motorcycles, Paul
noticed that Joyce had her tongue out. He thought to himself how seductive
Joyce looked with her tongue hanging out....she must really want me.....
even her eyes are rolling .... Joyce immediately pulled over, removing her
helmet off. Quickly Paul and Gina pulls besides Joyce, "Whats wrong??"
asked Gina.....Joyce trying to gasp for air explained that the wind was
pulling her helmet back causing the straps to choke her neck... "but Paul
kept giving me goggly looks instead of helping me!!!" Both women looked
at Paul....Paul feeling so foolish replied "Hey I thought Joyce was just
enjoying the ride!"
As Kermit came back with only his bikini briefs on, everyone stopped and
stared in disbelief.....as planned Lori and Dawnne stopped the tickle
fight but they were not the only ones ...... Sush, Manny and Mark also
stopped with a look of horror in thier faces .... Melissa and Tracie
feeling annoyed that the guys weren't looking at them, turned to see
what the whole deal was, then they too stared in astonishment. There
stood a man, a man who looked like any other young hot bloodied american
male but yet there was something different about him....something that
would make any man shiver with fright.....here stood a man with a metal
bikini brief on...all locked and chained......so secure that even the best
of locksmiths could not unlocked it......how could such a thing happen....
As the men looked, they thought how tragic this was, but as the women
looked, they thought how could he ever go to the bathroom with that
on...... Kermit realizing that he got everyone's attention blurted
out "We have to go to the main lobby and help search for Jen!!! " yet
he knew that he was not getting thru to them, they were still stunned
by the secured metal bikini briefs.......Kermit knew he had to explain
why he had them on. "You see ...... I've been cursed by a woman that
I dated awhile back...she said that if she couldn't have me then no
woman can....only until I find true love will I be able to break from
this curse...its been difficult though....especially when the woman
find out I can't do .....you know....the wild thing..."
"Oh no!" yelled M-L " I can't believe this, first Hill and now Linda.
This isn't my day, now I have to find a way to revive these two."
"Maybe a little massage therapy might work" said a southern accent
voice.....as M-L turned she noticed Annie Dillon standing with Jo
Barrows. "What is all the commotion about?" asked Jo "and what happen
to your hair and face!" "Don't ask!!" replied M-L "Right now we to need
to get Hill and Linda to the hospital, do you have a car??" Annie
smiled and said "Do I have a car!! I sure do!! and wait till you see it"
As the three women walked outside, thier stood a convertible pink cadillac
with the southern flag raised in the back seat. "What a car!" replied
M-L "Can I get in it???" "Sure" said Annie. The three women hopped into
the car, forgetting that Hill and Linda was still inside the building
unconscious. Jo turned on the radio and inserted a tape with the song
"Born to be Wild" All three woman began laughing hysterically and sang
the chorus to the top of thier lungs...suddenly the sound of police sirens
were in the distance.....Jo looked at Annie .... Annie looked at Jo....
Annie then started up the car and pressed down on the gas pedal causing
the rear tires to burn rubber....as the car took off, the glove compartment
door opened flinging a 44 MAGNUM pistol unto M-L's lap.....in the distance
the police radio continued to broadcast the message...."Attention all
cruisers, be in the look out for a 85 convertible pink cadillac with
two woman on it....they have been on a rampage ever since coming out of
a movie premiere of "Thelma and Liouse"........they are considered arm
and dangerous....."
