| I've been missing ... somewhat ... hi everyone!
Work has been the usual everyday stuff with no days off. (Remember the
camping trip in June?? My last time off) that is ... until a few days
ago when my knee locked all the way and remained at a 45 degree angle
for about 4 hours.
Arthroscopy is next week.
I'll be out a couple weeks.
I miss all of you very much.

I'm not missing yet, but I will be soon.
I volunteered for redundancy so I'm outta here at the end of September.
In fact, I'm on my career break until the day I leave so I won't be
back in the office.
I'm happy and sad at the same time. Even though Digital supported my
MBA I didn't think they would find me a position where I'd use it -
they still wanted me to be a techy - no pay rises for 4 years and no
sign of one before July 95 at the earliest, even with
a promotion 2 yrs ago and an MBA now was the final straw.
I will really miss ::FRIENDS and the network, I'm a bit of a late-night
junkie when it comes to notes and mail....
Anyhow... will be here for a while longer

Here is Lt. Cmdr. Martina-Data back in the fun-universe. ;)
All systems are back online and functioning properly at least for now.
I got a new motherboard for my PC and now I have 2 systems running in
my office.
The world is still spinning around, rhythmically, steadily, without
any sense of the highs and lows in the enclosing fabric. It is somehow
a fixed point in a universe that is expanding constantly.
This universe expands, this world never ends!
I spent a lot of time last week in Maynard working together with the
engineers over there and got quite a lot done. ;)))))
Tomorrow my manager returns from the west coast and then we'll figure
out how to proceed.

Airmail first 1/2 oz $.60 (used to be $.50)
Airmail over 1/2 less than 1 oz $1.00 (used to be $.95)

Just to explain....Some of the Universities in the UK have students who
study over 4 years for their degree - as part of that degree, they do a
year (or 2 periods of 6 months) out in business (Industrial Placement).
Henry and Sheby are doing their placements this year.
They have to go back to University after this year to finish their
degree and obtain their degree qualification.
of course of they misbehave, I'll zap em sooner than that! ;-)

Serenity tip toes in very very quietly.

was time enough to sit back and answer you all on
an individual basis, but alas, there is not.
I am alive and well and working my fingers to the
bone. Four hours commute daily though is beginning
to take it's toll on this woman and I fear it may
be aging me drastically. ;)
I have just completed the state Motorcycle Safety
Course and bought a second bike to practice on. A
little 500 cc Kawasaki to get me better prepared
for the Honda Shadow 1100 cc.
Due to a paperwork snafu with New Mexico, I did not
get married on April 30th. It looks like July 3rd is
the new date. Venus will be out of retrograde on the
2nd, so I had to wait for that to finish.
I am doing alot of role-playing in Digital MUDS,
mostly on PLANE, so wake your character up to visit
my character, ok? (grin) And if you don't have a
character, then get one. Add entry ERIS::LPMUD for
more information on where to get the files to copy
and be able to play.
I now live on the island permanently and it is so
gorgeous and peaceful. Every morning, the deer browse
through my yard. So pretty, so calm.
I am also available on the net
